Master the customer order system in Gossip Harbor. Understand order queues, Rave Reviews, the Gift Shop Owner, order cases, and advanced strategies to maximize your rewards.
Customer orders are the primary way to earn coins, energy, and story progress in Gossip Harbor. You can have a maximum of 6 normal orders in your main queue at any given time. Completing orders not only gives you rewards but also advances the story progress, unlocking new characters, areas, and story chapters. Each order requires you to merge and deliver specific items, and the rewards scale based on the complexity and level of the items requested.
Your main order queue holds a maximum of 6 normal orders simultaneously. Once all 6 slots are filled, no new normal orders will appear until you complete or dismiss an existing one. This limit is important for managing your board space and energy, as you want to avoid being stuck with orders that require items you cannot efficiently produce. Completing orders frees up slots and allows new orders to generate, giving you fresh opportunities for rewards.
Rave Reviews are special orders distinguished by their purple background and smiley face icon. They appear periodically and offer significantly better rewards compared to normal orders. Each Rave Review round consists of 6 to 12 individual orders, and the rewards range from 7 to 12 items across reward levels 1 through 7. The total energy value of Rave Review rewards ranges from 90 to 240 energy, making them one of the most efficient ways to recoup your energy investment in the game.
Super Rave Reviews are an enhanced version of the standard Rave Review. They appear with a 2-hour timer, giving you a limited window to complete them. The key advantage of Super Rave Reviews is that they provide 60% extra rewards compared to regular Rave Reviews. Super Rave Reviews appear after you have completed 2 normal rounds of Rave Reviews, so consistent play is necessary to trigger them. Always prioritize Super Rave Reviews when they appear, as the bonus rewards make them exceptionally valuable.
The main order queue has a hard limit of 6 normal orders. However, not all orders in the game count toward this limit. Understanding which orders are excluded from the main queue is essential for effective order management and for executing advanced strategies like keeping specific orders as placeholders.
The following order types do not count toward your 6 normal order slots, meaning they can appear even when your main queue is full:
Rave Review orders -- These special purple orders exist outside the normal queue system.
Event orders (Mutineer, Raccoon) -- Orders tied to specific in-game events are tracked separately.
Auto-generated orders -- Orders that are automatically created by the game under certain conditions.
Side quest orders -- Orders related to side quests and optional objectives.
Gift Shop Owner orders -- Orders from the Gift Shop Owner character (see below for details).
The Gift Shop Owner is a special character who provides unique orders. These orders do not count toward your main 6 order slots, which means they can coexist with a full normal queue. However, Gift Shop Owner orders do count toward Rave Reviews, meaning completing them contributes to your Rave Review progress. This dual nature makes Gift Shop Owner orders strategically important for players who want to maintain a full queue while still advancing toward Rave Review triggers.
The Gift Shop Owner will not order high-level items that generate A Coins. This restriction prevents you from using Gift Shop Owner orders as a way to passively generate A Coins, and it means the items requested are generally mid-tier or lower. Keep this in mind when deciding how much energy to invest in completing these orders.
Completing Gift Shop Owner orders rewards you with gift items that can be given to characters for relationship points. Different gifts provide different base relationship points, and certain characters receive bonus points from specific gifts:
Book -- 10 base relationship points. Bonus: Harrison and Lori each receive 12 points.
Chocolates -- 10 base relationship points. Bonus: Olivia and Amala each receive 12 points.
Flowers -- 8 base relationship points. Bonus: Quinn and Mark each receive 10 points.
Watch -- 12 base relationship points. Bonus: Cole and Sam each receive 15 points.
Order cases and choice boxes are reward containers that provide random items when opened. They come in several varieties, each offering different tiers of potential rewards. Understanding what each container can yield helps you decide when to use them and which ones to prioritize.
Contains one of three generator-related items. These are useful for expanding your production capabilities.
Orange Seeds, Lil' Pool Bins, Sea Stones

Barista's Choice, Half a Ham Sandwich, Pasta Pescatore

Shrimp Linguini, Jelly Sandwich, Sweet House Blend
One of the most important strategies in Gossip Harbor is to keep all 6 of your main order slots filled at all times. When you are about to submit Rave Review orders, having a full main queue prevents new normal orders from auto-generating and potentially replacing your Rave Review slots. This ensures you can complete your Rave Reviews without interference from the normal order system.
Since Gift Shop Owner orders count toward Rave Review progress but do not occupy your main 6 slots, you can keep one Gift Shop Owner order active at all times. This gives you a permanent source of Rave Review credit without spending energy on normal orders. When a Rave Review round arrives, simply complete the Gift Shop Owner order to contribute to your progress without touching your main queue.
Avoid creating 2 copies of the same highest-level item on your board. Doing so triggers an auto-order for that item, which automatically fills one of your main order slots. The problem is that auto-generated orders cannot be Rave Reviews, so you lose a potential Rave Review opportunity. Instead, merge items strategically and avoid duplicating your highest-tier outputs.
Auto-orders are generated automatically by the game under specific conditions. The two known triggers are: making 2 Deluxe Dream Cakes, or making 2 of whatever your current highest-level item is. These auto-orders fill your main queue and cannot be Rave Reviews, making them undesirable for players who are trying to maximize their Rave Review rewards. Be mindful of your merge chains and avoid accidentally triggering auto-orders.
1. Max 6 Normal Orders: Your main queue holds exactly 6 orders. Keep it full to block unwanted auto-orders.
2. Rave Reviews Are Priority: Purple background orders give 90-240 energy value. Super Rave Reviews give 60% extra with a 2-hour timer.
3. Gift Shop Owner = Free Rave Credit: Keep 1 active permanently for passive Rave Review progress without using main slots.
4. Avoid Auto-Orders: Never make 2 of the same highest-level item or 2 Deluxe Dream Cakes.
5. Know Your Cases: Fancy Order Cases give mid-level items, Green Choice Boxes give high-value items like Diving Gloves and Golden Conch.
6. Gift Bonuses Matter: Match gifts to the right characters for bonus relationship points (e.g., Watch gives Cole/Sam 15 pts instead of 12).
