Detailed strategies for every event type in Gossip Harbor. Know which events to prioritize and how to maximize rewards.
Merging events are the most common event type in Gossip Harbor. They take place on a dedicated merge board where you combine items to complete objectives and earn rewards. There are five distinct subtypes, each with unique mechanics and strategies.
The simplest merging event format. A preset collection of items is placed on the board at the start, and your goal is to merge all of them to complete the event. There are no additional stages or hidden areas -- just one board with everything laid out for you to merge through. These events are straightforward and serve as a good introduction to the merging event system.
Multilevel merging events feature a smaller merge board divided into multiple stages. You start on Level 1 and must create specific key items to unlock subsequent levels. Each new level introduces fresh items and merge chains to work through. The key items required to progress are: Level 2 requires an A Coin, Level 3 requires a Blast of Energy, and Level 4 requires Gem Shards. This progressive structure adds a layer of strategy, as you must plan your merges carefully to produce the required keys while also managing board space efficiently.
Digging events introduce a vertical scrolling mechanic. You begin by merging all visible items on the board, and once they are cleared, the screen scrolls downward to reveal a new set of items underneath. This process repeats across multiple layers, giving the event a sense of depth and discovery. Digging events use a point system to track your progress, and the deeper you dig, the more points and better rewards you earn. These events tend to be longer and more resource-intensive than single-level or multilevel events.
Cloudy merging events feature a board that is partially locked by clouds. To unlock the clouded areas, you must create specific key items on the accessible portions of the board. There are usually 5 clouds that must be cleared in a specific order. The main items in these events are plants, and you have access to up to 4 planting plots, with each additional plot increasing your output by 1. Harvesting your plants requires sickles, which are obtained by completing orders within the event. The final reward for completing a cloudy event is a Large Epic Pack, 300 energy, a 200 energy chest, and there is a 20% chance of receiving a Rainbow Gem.
Explorative merging events take place on a single merge board that is connected to a map. Your primary objective is to collect pink energy, which is used to clear obstacles on the map and reveal new areas. In addition to the map exploration, these events feature item collection goals and animal rescue objectives that you must complete alongside your merging activities. The combination of merging, map exploration, and rescue missions makes these events more complex and varied than other merging subtypes.
These events run on shorter timers, typically 24 to 72 hours, and feature distinct mechanics separate from the main merging board. They often involve order submission, luck-based mechanics, or cooperative play.
Lucky River is a 24-hour event where you merge items and submit orders to earn Lotus Tokens. The simple version requires 3,310 total points across 10 rounds. Each round has a progressively higher point threshold: Round 1 requires 50 points, Round 2 requires 80 points, Round 3 requires 110 points, Round 4 requires 150 points, Round 5 requires 200 points, Round 6 requires 300 points, Round 7 requires 420 points, Round 8 requires 500 points, Round 9 requires 650 points, and the final Round 10 requires 850 points. Plan your energy spending carefully to ensure you can reach the later rounds.
Sky-High Scramble is a competitive 24-hour event where you compete against 99 other players. Before the event begins, you can choose your difficulty level. Players who select hard mode face tougher challenges but receive significantly better rewards. The final reward for completing the hard mode includes a Fancy Order Case, 150 energy, and an Epic Pack. Your placement on the leaderboard determines your overall rewards, so consistent performance throughout the event is essential.
Bingo events run for 48 hours and use a bingo-style mechanic. Each ball costs between 30 and 50 energy to draw, and you will typically need 67 or more balls to complete the bingo card. The event features 8 levels of progression, with increasingly valuable rewards at each stage. The final reward for completing all 8 levels includes 100 energy, a Green Bordered Pick Box, and an Epic Pack. Budget your energy carefully, as the cost per ball can add up quickly over the course of the event.
Flower Fellowship is a cooperative event where players work together to submit orders and earn tokens. These tokens are then used to spin a reward wheel that features multipliers of 1x, 5x, 10x, 20x, and 50x. The goal is to accumulate 40,000 points to reach the final reward tier. The final rewards include a Box of Fries, Scissors, an Epic Pack, and 100 energy. Cooperation with other players is key, as the collective effort determines how quickly the community reaches the point milestones.
Fruit Roulette is an order-based event where you complete orders to earn tickets. These tickets are then used to play a fruit-themed roulette game. Each fruit has a different point value: Blueberries are worth 5 points, Strawberries are worth 10 points, Lemons are worth 15 points, Grapes are worth 25 points, and Watermelons are worth 50 points. The random nature of the roulette means that results can vary significantly, but consistent order completion gives you more spins and better odds of landing high-value fruits.
Clay Color Combos is a 10-round event where you receive random color bottles that you use to paint statues. The randomness of the color bottles adds an element of luck to each round. The event spans 10 rounds total, and the final reward for completing all rounds includes 100 energy, a Red Pick Box, and an Epic Pack. Since the color bottles are randomized, there is limited strategy involved, making this a more relaxed event compared to the competitive or cooperative alternatives.
Big Drop Rush is a two-day event where you collect tokens that can be used in a vending machine-style reward system. The event features 8 rounds of progression, with each round offering different rewards from the vending machine. The extended 48-hour duration gives you more flexibility in how you spend your energy, making it one of the more forgiving timed events. Focus on consistent token collection to maximize your vending machine pulls across all 8 rounds.
Disco Party is a three-day event built around a paid wheel mechanic. The first spin is free and costs 25 energy, but subsequent spins cost $0.99 each. This makes Disco Party one of the few events with a direct monetary cost for repeated participation. The 72-hour duration gives you time to decide how many spins you want to purchase. Free-to-play players should be aware that beyond the first free spin, this event requires real money spending to continue participating meaningfully.
